Smoothie bowls are one of our favorite ways to cool down and to get healthy fruits and veggies in our diet.

½ cups berry mix (or frozen fruit mix of choice)

2 bananas, 1 fresh + 1 frozen (use the other fresh half sliced on top)

2 tablespoons almond butter or nut butter (or 1 scoop protein powder), optional

½ – ¾ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk or water

Blend together in blender and pour into bowl. Top with any combination of the following:

Granola

coconut

cacao nibs

chocolate chips

banana

blueberries

strawberries

mango

peaches

nectarines

kiwi

chia seeds

pomegranate seeds

almonds

pumpkin seeds

Grapenuts

Any topping you think would taste great!

Mix this recipe up by using Acai or Dragon fruit packets (find these in the frozen fruit section). Add other fruits to the blended mix for more varieties. Also add spinach or kale, carrot, beet or other veggie juice for added vitamin content. Be adventurous!
