Tori Salinas, DPT
My Story
Tori received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Athletic Medicine at University of Texas at San Antonio. She went on to graduate with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021 from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock.
Tori has had experience in a variety of settings including: inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient ortho, and outpatient neuro. She is particularly drawn to neurologic disorders, orthopedics, geriatric rehab, balance, and more recently with the mentorship of Angeline, pelvic health!
Tori is a Texas native who recently moved to Idaho in 2022 with her boyfriend. If you want to hear a ridiculous and interesting story you can always ask how they met and get a good laugh. They enjoy spending their time scavenging through junk yards to fix vehicles and sell parts (Tori's contribution is usually holding the screws in her hand or the screwdriver while her boyfriend does all the work).
Tori also loves making polymer clay earrings for friends and family as well as selling at local markets from time to time. If Tori could eat only Mexican food for the rest of her life, she would without complaint. And she would have all the doggies in the world! She may have received the nickname Torture Tori from her patients in the past, but she will help you feel better with a smile none the less!
